京表意a high mound, a capital尤表意outstanding — the old form showed a hand reaching就

「京」是一处高地，旁边的「尤」——老写法里是一只伸出去的手：走上高地，到达它，安顿下来。从「到达」来了「就」今天的两份工作——「马上」（就来，马上到你那儿）和「那就」（就吃披萨吧，到达一个决定）。它也有「靠近、投入」的意思，比如「就业」。一个关于「到了」的字。

日表意the sun免表音miǎn → wǎn晚

太阳「日」加「免」表音：太阳晚了的时候。「晚上」是晚上，「晚饭」是晚饭，「太晚了」是一个夜晚结束的那句话——「太晚了，就明天再说吧」。「晚安」是晚上的平安，「来晚了」是到得晚。

氵表意water — it began as a river's name又表音the simplified right side; the old form had 𦰩汉

「汉」先是一条河——汉水，河给了一个王朝名字，王朝又把名字给了一个民族：汉族，还有你正在学的「汉语」。到了二十世纪，中国人需要拼 hamburger，伸手拿的还是这个音节：「汉堡」——一座装着肉的汉人的堡。「这家店的汉堡很好吃，就吃汉堡吧。」

1把课件那张清单大声跑一遍——太热了、太累了、太饿了、下雨了、没钱了、太远了——每一个都用你自己的「就……吧」收住。一分钟六个决定。
2留意「就」是怎么温柔地收尾的：「就不去了吧」是一个谁都不用难受的「不」。下次计划泡汤时用上它。
3现在有两个「就」：「就来」（马上）和「就吃吧」（那就）。两个都是拿定了主意的意思——这就是那根线。
