    Thirty minutes: we chat, I check your level and tones honestly, and you leave with a sketch of your study plan.

问题Before you book

What students ask first

I'm a complete beginner. Can I really learn Chinese?
Yes — most of my students started from zero. We begin with pinyin and tones, and you'll hold your first tiny conversation in lesson one. Chinese grammar is friendlier than you expect: no verb conjugation, no gender, no plurals.
How are lessons taught?
Live 1-on-1 video lessons, 50 minutes each. You get a personal study plan, the slides and a recording after every class, and homework with voice feedback between lessons.
What time zone do you teach in?
I'm in China, and I keep slots open from early morning to late evening Beijing time so Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia all have workable options. You book from a calendar shown in your own time zone, either as a fixed weekly slot or class by class.
What if I need to cancel a class?
Life happens. Reschedule up to 12 hours before class at no charge — your lesson credit is never lost.
